Maps are not loading

Check your internet connection and open Settings in Detour. The hosted app connects Maps automatically when configured. Private beta builds can use a restricted browser key with Maps JavaScript API, Places API (New), and Routes API enabled.

A place is closed or inaccessible

Place details can change. Confirm hours, admission, parking, and public access before leaving the route. Never trespass or enter an abandoned structure.

Driving safety

Set up your trip before driving. A passenger should operate Detour while the vehicle is moving. Follow posted signs, road closures, weather alerts, and local laws.

Advertiser applications and payments

Use the Detour business portal to apply, check approval status, activate an approved listing, and view performance. Advertising is $9.99 per month and checkout is processed by Stripe. Include your application ID and receipt email when asking for help, but never send payment-card details.
